Studio Hannah Tholen specializes in the artistic realization of architectural visualizations. We help our clients to present their designs in ways that are precise, atmospherically rich, and emotionally engaging.

Our photorealistic visualizations focus on creating atmospheres, evoking emotions, and introducing a narrative dimension. They complement architects’ plans, texts, and models, enhancing the communication of design ideas through a compelling visual language.

Process

We aim to make our collaboration as smooth and transparent as possible.

We understand that architectural projects often evolve until the end.
However, we kindly ask you to commission us once major design changes are complete.
Ongoing design updates are possible upon separate agreement.

Data & Schedule

Typical processing times:

• 1 image:            approx. 5 business days
  
• 2–3 images:     approx. 10 business days
  
• 4–6 images:     approx. 15 business days
  
• 7+ images:        as agreed
  

For the creation of a 3D model, we usually plan about one week, depending on the project’s size and level of detail.

Project Phases

Our visualization process can be divided into three stages.

Phase 1 – Camera & Composition

After reviewing the 3D model, you receive previews for image composition.
Camera position and basic lighting are determined.
Once approved, geometry and camera settings are fixed.

Phase 2 – Materials, Lighting & Environment

All elements receive materials and textures, and we define the lighting atmosphere.
Vegetation, vehicles, people, and artificial light are added.
Colors, contrast, and tone are fine-tuned for a consistent look.

Phase 3 – Finalization

After your final approval, we render the image in the final resolution (4500 x 4500 px).
Minor adjustments are possible in this stage.
Please note that we do not provide PSD files

Delivery

If the delivery date changes, please notify us in good time.
This allows us to adjust our schedule and avoid possible additional costs.

Usage Rights & Publication

When publishing our work, please credit Studio Hannah Tholen among the project participants (online or in print).

All copyright and usage rights remain with us.
Upon final approval, you receive a non-exclusive usage license for the finalized images.
This license is limited to the agreed purpose and includes reproduction, distribution, and public display of the final visualizations only.

We reserve the right to use the images for our own presentations, portfolio, website, and social media.
